Has anyone used Freshservice as a CRM for non-IT purposes?
My company is contemplating the adoption of Freshservice to manage our IT tickets, but they're also suggesting that we use it for our field service reporting.Do you think it's possible to leverage this SaaS for our field service reporting needs?
Ideally, I'd like to be able to list assets, create future tickets for preventive maintenance work, and generate custom reports for our customers.

Can Freshservice manage assets beyond IT equipment?
I've heard a lot about Freshservice's IT asset management features, but I'm curious if anyone has utilized it to manage assets outside the realm of IT. Can it handle things like facilities or other types of resources effectively? Your insights and experiences would be greatly appreciated!Posted by Mathew KellyAug 30, 2023
I've been using Freshservice for a while now, and it's surprisingly versatile when it comes to asset management. While it's known for its IT focus, I've successfully used it to track and manage office furniture, equipment, and even office supplies. The customizable fields and categories allowed me to tailor it to our needs, and the intuitive interface made it easy for everyone on the team to adapt.
