Funding growth in a tight VC market
Hi everyone,I'm new to the community. As a former serial founder of Saas companies, a former VC and now a provider of non-dilutive revenue-based funding, I'd love to help you with your strategy for funding growth this year.
I'm curious how many of you are looking at debt/non-dilutive funding and how many of you have been successful with securing equity term sheets in this environment. Do you have strategies/tips to share? Do you have questions you'd like for the rest of us to weigh in on?

Hi Leah,
Great question! If you'd like, please add your LinkedIn to your NachoNacho profile and it will show up next to your name, allowing new prospects to connect with you over on your professional profile as well.
I personally know quite a few CPG companies that would be interested in non-dilutive revenue-based funding. Do you guys also do inventory loans? In my experience having been the CEO of a CPG B2C company, it's always best if the company can bring some sort of retail contracts and other collateral to the offer to get lower rates. I think a lot of the community here and others in my network would love to learn more about what criteria needs to be met in order to work with you.

Lastpass vs 1Password
I'm constantly checking for updates about the LastPass facing class action lawsuit following the data breach. 1Password claims it has never been hacked. What's the difference between 1Password and LastPass from an encryption standpoint?Posted by Jacqueline SteinMar 31, 2023
1Password uses a combination of AES-256 encryption and a unique secret key that only the user knows, which is generated during account setup. On the other hand, LastPass uses a combination of AES-256 encryption and PBKDF2-SHA256 to secure user data.

Calendy alternative
What can you recommend for a scheduling tool/s that supports various calendar platforms, facilitate team scheduling, and offer efficient time management features?Posted by Eyobiel AndebrhanJun 8, 2023
Navigating the world of scheduling tools can be a challenge! While there are many options, finding a platform that balances robust features with user-friendly design can make a huge difference. One tool I've that strikes this balance well is ShiftPro. It's designed to simplify team scheduling and supports efficient time management with its own built-in calendar system. Plus, it has a handy in-built chat feature for team communication. It's worth exploring to see if it meets your needs. Just sharing a few insights, hope it helps!

One alternative to Calendly that I can recommend is "Doodle. It's a versatile scheduling tool that integrates seamlessly with popular calendar platforms like Google Calendar, Outlook, and iCal. It allows you to create and share personalized scheduling links with your team and clients, making it easy for them to book appointments based on their availability.

TripLog mileage question
May I inquire how tax refunds work for TripLog or any other mileage tracker app that you may use? I am interested to know whether it is more advantageous to keep the app running throughout my entire shift or pause it intermittently, such as in between rides. It appears to be a favorable opportunity if we are permitted to use it while traveling to rides or in between rides. For instance, I drove 86 miles last night and earned $66. According to TripLog, my estimated tax return is $46. Based on my calculations, I expect to pay approximately $21 in taxes, resulting in a $25 refund for just one day. This seems almost too good to be true.
Thank you for your assistance.

It is more advantageous to keep it running for your entire shift as the distance between two job sites/pick-ups etc would still be incurred as a driving expense and you can write it off at .56 cents to the mile.

If you only use your vehicle for business purposes, then keeping the app running throughout your entire shift may be more beneficial. However, if you also use your vehicle for personal use, then pausing the app during those times may be necessary to avoid overestimating your business mileage.
