Lastpass vs 1Password

I'm constantly checking for updates about the LastPass facing class action lawsuit following the data breach. 1Password claims it has never been hacked. What's the difference between 1Password and LastPass from an encryption standpoint?

1Password uses a combination of AES-256 encryption and a unique secret key that only the user knows, which is generated during account setup. On the other hand, LastPass uses a combination of AES-256 encryption and PBKDF2-SHA256 to secure user data.

1Password and LastPass both use encryption to protect user data, but 1Password uses a proprietary encryption algorithm called "AgileKeychain" with end-to-end encryption, while LastPass uses a combination of symmetric and asymmetric encryption methods with RSA 2048-bit public/private key encryption.

As far as publicly known, there has not been any successful hack or breach of 1Password's system. Both 1Password and LastPass use strong encryption to protect user data, but 1Password's Secret Key Encryption may provide an additional layer of security.
