How Zapier pricing works
Zapier bills its core plans by subscription tier and included task allowance, not per seat, contact or transaction. Successful workflow actions use tasks; some AI actions use more than one. More frequent or complex workflows can therefore require a larger allowance. Free and Professional are single-user plans; Team includes up to 25 users, while Enterprise supports unlimited users.
Monthly billing charges each cycle; annual billing prepays the subscription for a year at a lower effective monthly cost. Extra task usage is still billed monthly. Invoice or wire-transfer payment is available only on annual Team or Enterprise plans. Enterprise pricing is arranged through sales.
- Overage: On paid plans, extra tasks are billed on top when the allowance runs out, unless pay-per-task billing is turned off.
- Add-on: Paid Agents and Chatbots plans have separate allowances and charges; Agents activity does not use the core task allowance.
- Optional technical account management may cost extra unless included at the applicable plan threshold.
- Some connected apps require their own paid subscription for Zapier or API access.
The Free plan allows two-step workflows but not premium apps, multi-step workflows or pay-per-task billing. New accounts receive a Professional trial; without an upgrade, paid features stop working when it ends.
