What tools or systems do you use to improve your productivity?
I'm just wondering what tools you use for your daily struggles when it comes to staying productive. I tend to procrastinate a lot and juggle multiple projects. It has gotten worse since I transitioned to working from home.

I use Asana to keep myself organized at home. (I'm a remote product consultant and OKR coach.) For me though, the key is how I use the tools. Everyday I do a daily wrap-up where I plan out the next day. So it's all in Asana, but that fact that my todo list is important (to me) and feels manageable is key.

How do you stay organized across multiple projects?

There are a range of tools and systems that can help individuals improve their productivity. Some options include:

1) Task management tools: Task management tools, such as Trello, Asana, or Todoist, allow users to create and organize to-do lists, assign tasks to team members, and track progress.

2) Time tracking tools: Time tracking tools, such as Toggl or RescueTime, allow users to track how they spend their time and identify areas for improvement.

3) Calendar tools: Calendar tools, such as Google Calendar or Outlook, allow users to schedule and organize their time, set reminders, and manage appointments and meetings.

4) Productivity apps: Productivity apps, such as Freedom or Forest, allow users to block distracting websites and apps and focus on specific tasks.

5) Pomodoro technique: The Pomodoro technique is a time management method that involves breaking work into 25-minute increments, separated by short breaks. Using a timer or productivity app to implement the Pomodoro technique can help users stay focused and avoid burnout.

What's the easiest way to incorporate in the US?
I am starting a new business that I want to incorporate in US, but I don't have a US citizenship.

Does anyone have any tips or know where I can get more information? I am still researching if that is possible.

I know that even getting a job in the US is complex and there is a bunch of bureaucracy. I'm also open to hiring an agency that can do this for me.

Which SaaS companies are most eco-friendly?
As a consumer or business owner, how do you identify which SaaS companies are most eco-friendly? I'd personally like to make more informed decisions about which services to use.
T
Mar 28, 2023
Here are some tips that might help, First, look for companies that are transparent about their environmental practices - no secrets! Check if they have any fancy-schmancy certifications like B Corp or LEED. You can also check if they're offsetting their carbon footprint, and if they're using renewable energy or offering paperless billing, that's a big plus! Finally, some SaaS products are designed to help you go green - like carbon tracking features or digital workflows.
Some examples of SaaS companies that are known for their sustainability practices include Salesforce, Dropbox, and Google.

An eCommerce application is a fantastic tool for businesses looking to expand their reach and increase their sales. An eCommerce app can help businesses grow in ways that traditional brick-and-mortar stores simply can't.

Freshworks or Hubspot?
One of our goals this year is to set up a CRM for my company. As of now I am the only sales person, but we will be expanding 2nd quarter of 2023.

Primary purpose of the CRM will be contact management, tracking leads, forecasting revenue etc.

Would love to hear what you are using.

Both are popular customer relationship management tools and which one is "better" depends on the specific needs and goals of an organization. I would suggest to evaluate the features and capabilities of both tools and determine which one aligns better with your business requirements. They might have free trial/plans that you can explore. Good luck!

Iaas, Paas, and Saas
What are the differences between Iaas, Paas, and Saas? Which one provides users with the most control? It would also be great if anyone can give popular examples for each.
Alan Szternberg
Jan 1, 2023
IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service), and SaaS (Software as a Service) are three main categories of cloud computing services.

IaaS:

With IaaS, you rent infrastructure resources such as virtual machines, storage, and networking from a provider on a pay-as-you-go basis.
You have complete control over the infrastructure and can use it to run any application or workload.
Examples of IaaS providers include Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
PaaS:

With PaaS, you get a platform for developing, testing, delivering, and managing applications and services.
The provider handles the infrastructure and maintenance, allowing you to focus on building your applications.
PaaS includes tools and frameworks for developing, testing, and deploying applications.
Examples of PaaS providers include AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Azure App Service, and GCP App Engine.
SaaS:

With SaaS, you use a provider's software application over the internet, typically through a web browser.
The provider handles the infrastructure, maintenance, and updates for the application.
You don't need to install or maintain the software yourself, and you only pay for what you use.
Examples of SaaS providers include Gmail, Google Drive, and Microsoft Office 365.

Best practices for designing an API for a mobile app include defining your purpose and intended audience, using a clear and consistent naming convention, using HTTP status codes, implementing authentication methods, providing detailed documentation, testing the API thoroughly, monitoring for performance issues, implementing rate limiting, and regularly updating and deprecating outdated features.

Number one is to focus on creating an API that is functional, reliable, easy to use for developers, and secure in terms of protecting sensitive data and preventing unauthorized access. Using a consistent and intuitive design and providing support and documentation would also be on top of my list.
