Squarespace for website
I've been hearing a lot about Squarespace lately and would want to give it a try. Has anyone here used Squarespace for their website? I'm curious about your personal experiences with the platform. How was the process of building and customizing your site? Did you find the templates and design options to be as good as they claim?I

I've actually used Squarespace to build a website for my small photography business. The whole experience was surprisingly smooth. The templates they offer are not only visually appealing but also quite versatile. Customizing the design and content was a breeze with their intuitive editor – I'm far from tech-savvy, so that was a huge plus for me. One thing I really appreciated was how the platform handled hosting and security; I didn't have to worry about those aspects at all. And whenever I hit a roadblock or had questions, their customer support was pretty helpful. Overall, Squarespace turned out to be an excellent choice for my website needs.

When it comes to features, customization, and value for money, I would pick 10Web. It offers a robust set of features, advanced customization options, and competitive pricing compared to Wix.

Should I code my website from scratch?
What are the advantages of coding your own website from scratch rather than using a website builder like Webflow?C
Posted by Corey PaulJan 18, 2023
The advantages of coding a website from scratch include greater control, flexibility, customization, understanding of code, performance, scalability, and the ability to use open-source tools. However, it also requires more time and technical expertise compared to using website builders like Webflow.

I'd also add that if you build it from scratch you have more control over the 'weight' and efficiency of your site. Many website builders lead to bloated sites.
Leaner, more optimised sites built form scratch can often lead to better performance and user experience - which helps with SEO. But more than that, you'll be also have more control on your websites' carbon footprint.
You can then use tools like @digital carbon online to measure, track and report on your entire website carbon footprint, helping you further optimise, reduce CO2 and improve not just your green credentials but your customer experience too.

Phonesites for non-coders
I am thinking of starting a business to create websites for small businesses. I don’t have any experience in coding, and I hope to create promising websites via Phonesites or something similar like Odoo, but without coding. Themes etc are not very important to me as I have Photoshop skills. What do you guys use?Posted by Felix PhillipsJun 29, 2023
I would recommend exploring website builders like Squarespace or Webflow, which provide intuitive drag-and-drop interfaces for creating websites without coding knowledge. These platforms offer a range of templates that can be customized using your Photoshop skills, allowing you to create visually appealing websites tailored to the needs of small businesses.
